If Biden loses, it will be because he didn't come far enough left, not because anybody believes he'll defund the police, which is something you should research more before saying that it will increase crime. There are no 'reasonable people in the middle' between Trump and Biden, Biden's policies are closer to early-2000's GWB than anything truly 'left.' If there is a middle, it's Between Trump & Biden and the actual left, and if dems want a win, they should support policies that are popular with a majority of voters, like M4A and eliminating student debt, not keep moving further right.
