I'm just gonna be honest, it's impossible to take anything you say seriously when you call yourself progressive, but support Obama. If that's progress, we're doomed. Your article also suggested that you buy into the idea that republicans were the only problem during his presidency, and that's just not the case. For example:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jan/09/america-dropped-26171-bombs-2016-obama-legacy

You also seem to be associating anarchy with the right. I know that word gets thrown around a lot, but you're talking to an anarchist. There are links to literature on the Anarchist Library in the article, feel free to have a look around there and familiarize yourself with the history and philosophy behind it. I would ask that you do so before dismissing the idea, but I know that's asking a lot. As it relates to this discussion, supporting a far-right authoritarian is about as far as you could get from anything an anarchist would be likely to do.

I will note that, considering the alternative, I'm not at all ashamed to be called a radical. I don't expect politics here to align with my ideas, but I will fight for what I think is right where I can. Contrary to what you seem to be saying, asking nicely won't get it done. You claim to be a student of history, so you should understand that concept.

You insist on calling others 'stupid' while you remain willingly ignorant yourself, and I can't say that makes me want to pay much attention to your advice or opinions.
